Pigeon Forge Pottery

Pigeon Forge Pottery was founded in 1946, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, by Douglas Ferguson. While working at the TVA’s ceramics research lab, he met and later married Ruth Wilson, daughter of Ernest Wilson, a well known American potter. After being married for eleven years, they opened the Pigeon Forge Pottery. They produced a variety of pottery by hand and designed their own kilns and equipment.

I have 2 very old pieces I inherited I’m trying to find info on. One is a large blue glazed horn owl? And the other a gorgeous black raven. Any help would be appreciated

Probably 25 years ago when we were living in Knoxville and about to move to Maryland, our Knoxville neighbors gave us a set of coffee mugs as a going away remembrance/gift.

We still have them and our two grown kids both “covet” them. If they are still available, by any chance, I’d like to buy a set of them for each kid. There are six mugs each having a line drawing of an animal (fox, deer, fish, rooster and owl (2) “embossed” in dark brown on the outside of them. The outside of the cup is what I would describe as a flat light brown with a somewhat semi-gloss yellowish/ brown interior. The only marking on them is on the bottom reading in script “The Pigeon Forge Pottery with Pigeon Forge Tenn. written underneath. Do you have any idea if they are still available and where they might be purchased? HELP and THANKS, Bill Hyatt 239-390-3942 bhyatt9103 @aol.com

I am developing a website about tea from a Christian perspective and targeting both Christians and non-Christians who are searching spiritually I bought one of your mugs recently and love it. Do you sell wholesale or have an affiliate program whereby if a website directs someone to your website and they buy something then the owner of the website would make a commission?
